About Us!
Cedar Hill, Missouri (Metro St. Louis Area) is the current home to the Shelties of Rapporlee. Dedicated to the breed, and the preservation of its standard, we have over 50 years of experience and successes toward that end. Not surprisingly, we both remain as enthusiastic and committed to the breed we love as when we started. Conformation exhibitors, and breeders, we are long-standing members of the American Shetland Sheepdog Association, and the Greater St. Louis Shetland Sheepdog Club.Credited as founding members of Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana, and Wheatland Sheltie Rescue in Kansas. Having concentrated primarily on the 'Sea Isle' look to maintain the 'type' and characteristics of those we originally fell in love with- our dogs must exhibit overall balance, soundness, type, expression and temperament. The 'residents' include many of our beloved champions in addition to a number of promising (and equally loved) youngsters waiting patiently in the wings. As Regional Advisors/ Mentors for the ASSA, and AKC Breed Judges we are always happy to share information & answer questions on the Shetland Sheepdog! We are equally pleased to direct prospective owners on availability of quality puppy or rescue Shelties throughout the St. Louis Area, and midwest.
